Unfortunately, some people are not aware that this movie is actually based on the book by Stephenie Meyer, The Secret Life of the American Teenager. This book has been called the next best thing to being taken under a psychologist's wing. Being a teenager and having problems with your speech will probably be one of the first things that you'll be advised about.The movie Destiny shows us another side of teenage life, as Destiny goes to a party, while dealing with her stuttering problem. The girl that takes her on a roller coaster ride while the boys drink a lot is quite a scene to see. In Destiny, the main character (Lavender) has a friend named Eve who helps her deal with her stuttering problems.Destiny tries to tell her friend about what is bothering her, but in the end she decides to go talk t o her parents. In Destiny, the stuttering problem is very small and is not that severe. It is not that her stuttering is more apparent to others, or that she has trouble speaking to others.Stuttering can be a difficult problem to solve.
